These log file data sets are analysed anonymously in order to improve our content and make it more user-friendly, to locate and rectify errors and to manage the utilisation of servers. The IP address will be deleted from all systems used in connection with the operation of these web pages within seven days. We can then no longer establish a connection with an individual person based on the remaining data.

Cookies

This website uses cookies. A cookie is a text file with an identification number, which is transmitted to the user's computer and stored there together with other requested data during use of the website. The file is kept there for later access and is used to authenticate the user. Since cookies are simple files and not executable programs, they do not pose a threat to the computer. With the exception of essential cookies, we generally only store cookies with your consent on the basis of Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR; you may withdraw your consent at any time.

If you have disabled cookies in your internet browser, some features of the website may not be available or may be limited. We may work with advertising partners to help us make our website more interesting for you. For this purpose, cookies from partner companies are also stored on your hard drive (third-party cookies) when you visit our website. If we are working with advertising partners as described above, you will be informed individually and separately about the use of such cookies and the amount of information collected in each case, as set out in the following paragraphs.

We use the following type of cookies

First-party cookies: First-party cookies are transmitted from the platform you are currently visiting.

Essential cookies: These cookies are required to allow you to navigate through the platform and use its functions, such as access to secure areas of the platform. Without these, certain services cannot be provided, such as displaying customised content for your computer or device.

Performance cookies: These cookies collect information about how visitors use the platform, such as which pages are accessed most frequently and whether they receive error messages from websites. However, these cookies do not collect information about the visitor's identity. All information collected by these cookies is summarised and therefore anonymous. They are used only to optimise the platform.

Functionality cookies: These cookies allow the platform to store decisions you have made (eg language settings and your region) and provide you with improved, more personalised features. They can also be used to save your settings with regard to text size, font and other customisable elements of the website. In addition, they can be used to provide the services you want, such as viewing a video or commenting within a blog. The information collected by these cookies can be anonymised. Your browsing activities cannot be tracked on other platforms.

Webflow/contact forms

This site is hosted via Webflow's Content Delivery Network (CDN). It is a service provided by Webflow, Inc., 398 11th Street, 2nd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA ("Webflow").

The Webflow CDN supplies duplicates of data from a website via various Webflow servers worldwide. This results in faster website loading times, more reliable performance, protection against brute force attacks and increased protection against data loss.

Most of the website elements and the source code are obtained via the WebFlow CDN when the page is accessed, and the information is automatically routed between your browser and our website via the CDN.

When you access the page, your IP address is transferred to Webflow's servers in other EU countries; it is stored in an anonymous format on those servers for 24 hours. This 24-hour storage of the anonymised IP address helps to protect against brute force attacks.

If you fill in the contact form or the applicant contact form, the data entered there (such as name, email address, company, telephone, message, profile, CV, covering letter or documents) is also transmitted to WebFlow and forwarded to us. Transmissions are always encrypted.

The Webflow CDN is used in the interests of improving website reliability, increasing protection against data loss, ensuring protection against brute force attacks, delivering faster loading times for this website and transmitting data quickly and securely. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. You can opt out of data processing based on our legitimate interest at any time with future effect.

Data transmission to the USA is carried out based on standard data protection clauses of the European Commission pursuant to Article 46 (2) (c) GDPR (For more information on this topic, please visit: https://webflow.com/legal/eu-privacy-policy). You can view the latest Webflow privacy statement at: https://webflow.com/legal/eu-privacy-policy

Usercentrics

On this website we use the Usercentrics Consent Management Platform (CMP) as a consent management tool within the framework of analytics activities. This service is provided by Usercentrics GmbH, Sendlinger Strasse 7, 80331 Munich, Germany.

The Usercentrics Consent Management Platform collects log file and consent data using JavaScript. JavaScript makes it possible to inform users about their consent for certain tags on our website and to obtain, manage and document said consent.

We process the following data:

(1) Consent data (anonymised log book data (consent ID, service ID, controller ID), consent status, time stamp)

(2) Device information (including shortened IP addresses, device information, time stamp)

(3) User data (including email, ID, browser information, settings ID, changelog)

The consent ID (contains the data detailed above) and the consent status with time stamp are stored in the local memory of your browser and also on the cloud servers that are in use. Further processing will only take place if you make a request for access or if you withdraw your consent. In such cases, the corresponding information will be provided in a compact data format in an easy-to-read text form for the purpose of data exchange (JSON file).

No user information is stored in connection with the statistics for use of granted or refused consent. Only the frequency and locations of the clicks are saved.

The purpose of the data processing is to analyse, manage and verify the consents granted so that we can fulfil our duty to deliver GDPR-compliant consent management.

The specific processing purposes of the personal data are:

(1) Obtaining and providing the consents

(2) Verifying which device you used to provide the consent, and when

(3) Ensuring access to settings and documenting changes

The legal basis for management of your consent to process your personal data is Article 6 (1) (c) and (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the legally compliant documentation and verifiability of consent, the application of marketing measures based on the consent granted and the optimisation of the approval ratings. If processing is based on our legitimate interest, you may opt out of the processing at any time with future effect.

The data is always deleted as soon as it is no longer needed. The cookie used has a duration of 60 days. Data concerning withdrawn consent will be retained for a period of three years. This retention obligation is based in part on our accountability pursuant to Article (5), (2) GDPR and in part on the limitation period pursuant to Section 195 of the German Civil Code (BGB). The obligation begins at the end of the year in which the consent is granted or withdrawn and ends three years later.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics from Google LLC., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter "Google LLC"). This service allows us to analyse use of our websites through the use of cookies. For this purpose, the information generated by the cookie, such as your anonymised IP address, is transmitted on our behalf to a Google LLC server in the USA, where it is stored and analysed. On this website, Google Analytics has been extended with the code "gat._anonymizeIp();" to ensure the anonymised collection of IP addresses. Google LLC generally shortens your IP address within the European Union or in other contracting states of the European Economic Area (EEA) in order to anonymise your IP address. Only in exceptional cases will your IP address be transmitted to a Google LLC server in the USA and anonymised there. Your IP address transmitted in this process will not be merged with other data held by Google LLC. Data transmission to the USA is carried out based on standard data protection clauses of the European Commission pursuant to Article 46 (2) (c) GDPR.

The Google Analytics advertising feature uses remarketing and performance reports based on demographic characteristics and interests. The purpose of these operations is to use information on user behaviour to better align advertising measures with the interests of the respective users. Within the scope of remarketing, personalised advertising material can be placed on other websites based on the user's browsing behaviour on this website. In this case, the advertising material may contain products that the user has previously looked at on the website. If you have given your consent to allow your Google web and app browsing history to be linked to your Google account and information from your Google account to be used to personalise adverts, Google will use this data for cross-device remarketing. You can opt out of the collection of your data by Google Analytics at any time. You may choose from any of the following options to do so:

The data processing, in particular the storing of cookies, is carried out with your consent based on Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time, without the legality of the processing carried out with consent being affected up to the point of withdrawal. Withdrawal may be carried out by deactivating the corresponding selection in our Consent Management Platform. The Consent Management Platform can be opened by clicking on the cookie settings tool in the bottom left of the screen.

Most browsers accept cookies automatically. Alternatively, you can prevent the use of cookies by adjusting your browser settings; if you do this, however, you may not be able to use some features of the website. You will have to adjust the settings for each browser you use separately.

If IP anonymisation is enabled on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google beforehand within Member States of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. In this case, data transmission to the USA is carried out based on the standard data protection clauses of the European Commission pursuant to Article 46 (2) (c) GDPR. On behalf of the website operator, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of this service.
